Nova

About the library

Nova is a hybrid sci-fi library featuring nature’s best mimic, the lyrebird.

Starting from a large collection of ultrasonic recordings of the animal, including its own signature laser sound (surprisingly, not a mimic!), we created a synthesized section to unleash its full sci-fi potential.

The recorded section was then expanded to give sound designers ingredients for more physical designs.

This features objects such as: aluminium welders, laser cutters, press brakes, pneumatic presses, induction hobs, deburring machines, strange servos and many more.
